We all know that taste in music can differ, also during the Eurovision Song Contest… Where some countries give the highest points to the winner where other countries ignore the it. In a series we will look at each year – one by one. We cannot do 1956 as the scores were never made public.
In 1957 10 countries participated, in each participating country a ten-member jury distributed 10 points among their favourite songs. All the juries gave points to the winning song Net Als Toen, sung by Corry Brokken for the Netherlands, but Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom only gave one point to the winner.
