Masha Zhilina – “Вышэй” (Vyshei) – 2017

The second of Masha’s  four national selection entries and considered by many to be her best.

Unlike in other years however, on this occasion in 2017 Masha came up against a song in Helana Meraai’s ‘I am the one’  that, had that not won, it would probably be here in our list.

Maraai topped both the jury and public vote to leave Zhilina in what would become a familiar runner up spot.
