Masha Zhilina – ‘Welcome to my Belarus’  – 2018

With the contest being held in the capital Minsk later in the year and given that Masha already participated for the previous 2 years with songs that; had they been selected,  would surely have been serious contenders for the Junior Eurovision win, This was a no brainier right?  Wrong!

The combination of a low jury score and an Army of young female fans voting for the winner Daniel Yastremski ensured Masha finished in the runner up spot for the second consecutive year.
