Maria Ermakova  – ‘Vetra’  – 2019

The nailed on favorite for the 2019 National selection –  3 different language versions of the song (Russian, Belarus, Polish) had been produced and there was a huge buzz in the fandom surrounding the song.  Many fans were tipping this to be a potential winner of  junior Eurovision 2019, so the national selection was surely just a formality? 

Of course not, This is Belarus!, so whilst Maria easily won the televote, the juries only placed her in 4th position which was only good enough for the Runner up spot.
