Roy van der Merwe of ESC Covers received several USB sticks at the Eurovision song contest over the years and some of them are really special. He will highlight some of these over the next number of weeks.

The third USB stick I want to write about is one I got from the French delegation in Vienna 2015.

I was working at the OGAE fan stand when someone (probably head of press) of France came to me and said he has 100 USB sticks of their entry N’ OUBLIEZ PAS of LISA ANGELL and would I be so hand as to hand them out to fans.

I took one for myself and then walked to the Austrian volunteers at the pigeon holes and handed them out to them – saying you all  take one and what is left over put into the pigeon holes at random.
