Uku Suviste is ‘The Lucky One’ for Estonia at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest

Uku Suviste has won the Eesti Laul competition with The Lucky One and will therefore represent Estonia at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Uku, Jüri Pootsmann (2016 ESC Estonia) and Sissi (daughter of Dave Benton – part of the winning team for Estonia at the 2001 ESC) were the super finalists.

Uku won the televoting and will therefore take his place in Rotterdam in May.

The Lucky One is composed by Uku Suviste and Sharon Vaughn (who was introduced to Uku by Russian celebrity singer and writer, Philipp Kirkorov). Philipp is a big fan of Uku and says he would be a big star in Russia!

Uku missed out on the 2020 Eurovision with his song What Love Is, the contest was cancelled due to the world health pandemic.

  1. I am the LUCKY ONE this morning. I wanted UKU to win. His song from2020 is my number 1 for 2020 and now his song from 2021 will also be my number 1 for 2021.
