Pierre Kartner (better known as Vader Abraham) passed away.

It has not been a good couple of days  for Eurovision related artists. Bruno Andries sent ESC Covers a link to a Belgium newspaper that reported on the death of a well-known Dutch singer, composer and producer. IK BEN VERLIEFD (SHA-LA-LIE) – SIENEKE (The Netherlands 2010)

Recently we finished with our Top 100 which were compiled from the top 10’s of 103 people. Now for about 2 weeks, Roy of ESC Covers will do his top 20 of Eurovision songs he would have liked in the top 100 but they did not make it.

Sieneke, who represented The Netherlands in 2010 at the Eurovision Song Contest with Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha-La-Lie), has a brand new song out. It is called Waar Blijft Nou De Wijn (Where does the wine). The song is really catchy and has a happy ‘schlager’ feel to it.

Waar Blijft Nou De Wijn is composed and produced by Emile Hartkamp and Norus Padidar. The arrangement is by Walter Schmidt.

Sieneke has had many hit songs and videos including En Toen Kwam JijBekijk ‘t MaarDonkere Dagen and Lieg Toch Eens Een Beetje Beter.
