Sebastian hits the top of the local charts in Malta with ‘Touch’

Sebastian Calleja has reached the top of the local charts in Malta with his new single entitled Touch. The track is a cool and funky and upbeat dance song.

Touch is composed by Matteo Depares and Aidan Cassar. The production is courtest of Matteo Makes Music at WickedandLoud.

There is an official lyric video released and is by Duane Laus and Angie Laus. Camera work is by Ivan Zarb Ferrante at WE MEDIA studio.

Sebastian gives thanks to his vocal coach Glen Vella, who represented Malta at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.

A brand new Christmas song has been launched in Malta by various singers entitled Kull m’hemm Bżonn. It is an upbeat song with a seasonal message composed by Dario Bezzina and Cliff Casha.

The talented singers taking part are Eliana Gomez Blanco, Sebastian Calleja, Nicole Hammett, Timea Farr, Martina Fenech and Bradley Debono. They all do a wonderful job.

ESC Covers are familiar with some of the singers above such as Nicole, who has an amazing voice and can adapt to opera, pop and rock styles so easily. Eliana took part in the Malta Junior Eurovision national selection this year and has great jazz and soulful voice. Bradley, we know from some great performances. Sebastian has taken part in several festivals and success in competitions. We look forward to hearing more about Timea and Martina.

Sebastian Calleja releases new single ‘Escape’

Sebastian Calleja has released a hot summer single which is perfect for the dance floors and beaches. The song is entitled Escape. Sebastian has also released an official video clip to accompany the song. It starts with an elderly wife finding her husband has passed away and relives their lives when they were young and they ran away to be together.

Escape is composed by Jonas Gladnikoff, Michael James Down, Primoz Poglajen and Glen Vella (2011 ESC Malta).

Sebastian was the OGAE Eurovision winner in 2016 with his interpretation of Golden Boy (2015 ESC Israel – Nadav Guedj). He also recently got to be on stage at a special concert to celebrate the St. Sebastian Feast in Qormi, Malta with Ruslana (2004 ESC Ukraine winner) and Claudia Faniello (2017 ESC Malta) and other including a live Pinto Philharmonic Orchestra band.
