Hello everyone!Apologies for the late start… However here is the first song for review of the performance live. As Roy mentioned, we are commenting on the performance (staging, costume, engagement etc.) and it is 2 points per song per person that chooses to comment.

We will start in the running order of semi finalists who failed to qualify (starting with the first semi) and move into the grand final from there.

We would like to add an additional component. Could we ask that each person places a score between 0 and 10 for each performance through to escvotes@gmail.com.
You can choose to do it song by song or all 42 at once should you wish. At the end of the 42 songs, we will tally up the votes and fund ROW’s favourite song of the year.

Sandhja will soon represent Finland at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her catchy and anthemic song, Sing It Away. Ahead of her new album launch Sandhja has released her brand new single entitled Love Me High.

Love Me High is available through digital platforms such as Spotify, Deezer and iTunes.

Sandha’s new album will be launched on 29 April.

2016 Eurovision Song Contest

Sandhja will represent Finland at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Sing It Away’

Sandhja has won the 2016 UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) national selection in Finland with Sing It Away and will represent her country at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in May. Nine acts competed in the final and they were –

  1. Cristal Snow – Love is Blind
  2. Stella Christine – Ain’t Got Time for Boys
  3. Annica Milán & Kimmo Blom – Good Enough
  4. Eini – Draamaa
  5. Barbe-Q-Barbies – Let Me Out
  6. Tuuli Okkonen – Don’t Wake Me Up
  7. Sandhja – Sing It Away
  8. Saara Aalto – No Fear
  9. Mikael Saari – On It Goes

The results were decided with a combination of jury and televoting. Special guests included Lordi (Finland winners at ESC 2006)  and Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (Finland ESC 2015).

Sandhja won the right to represent her country at the Eurovision in May. You can see her perform Sing It Away below.
