Magdalena Aleksovska wins a place to the finals of Europe Cup for Performers 2020

Magdalena Aleksovska has had success by winning a place in the Europe Cup for Performers 2020 finals to be held in Malta in April next year.

Magdalena (also known as Maggie) battled through tough auditions in the Young category from the semi-finals in Sofia, Bulgaria and the final in Milan, Italy.

With this success Maggie has made it possible for North Macedonia to take part in this cup competition next year and the future. The competition could possibly lead to even bigger opportunities such as achieving contacts in the world of Broadway musicals.

Maggie also recently took part in the Annie musical show in North Macedonia where she played the part of Miss Hannigan. You can see the show below.

It was in 2015 that Ivana Petkovska & Magdalena Aleksovska represented North Macedonia (then FYR Macedonia) at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Pletenka – Braid of Love.

You can see Maggie perform I’m The Greatest Star by Barbra Streisand from Funny Girl below. Maggie looks confident on the stage with her strong stage presence and vocals.

Lina Pejovska has released a new song entitled Kriv si sam (It’s your fault alone). It is strong pop ballad with a beautiful arrangement.

Kriv si sam is composed by Robert Bilbilov and Rade Vrcakovski-Vrcak. The arrangement is by Robert Bilbilov.

Lina is from North Macedonia and has released successful songs and videos in Serbian and Macedonian languages.

Mina Blažev releases brand new song ‘Confusion’

Mina Blažev returns with a brand new track and music video for Confusion. The song is the English version of a song that Mina will perform at the forthcoming 2019 Makfest competition in North Macedonia.

Confusion is a contemporary and soulful song with a strong production and beautifully sung by the ever evolving and charming Mina. The song is composed and arranged by Robert Bilbilov.

The video clip of Confusion is beautifully filmed in black and white and directed and produced by Zoran Zonde Stojanovski.

Mina represented North Macedonia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the upbeat Dancing Through Life.

Ivana Petkovska impressed the judges and the audience with her performance on the Serbian talent show Zvezda Granda (Grand Star).

Ivana gave a splendid vocal performance, which was controlled and powerful.

Ivana represented North Macedonia, with Magdalena Aleksovska, at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Pletenka.

Tamara Stojkovska has released a brand new song and video clip for her song Druga Zvezda (Second Star). It is a heartfelt ballad performed with a lot of emotion. You can feel the instruments which has a blues/jazz feel.

The music and arrangement for Druga Zvezda is by Davor Necak with lyrics by Josip Kocev. The video is courtesy of Agon Ismayli and Zuber Krasniqi.

Tamara is a talented singer from North Macedonia. She has released some beautiful songs including a covers of Koga te nema and Ako odam vo Bitola and also Make You Feel My Love by Adele.

Lina Pejovska recently performed My Number One (the 2005 Eurovision winning song for Greece by Helena Paparizou). She performed the song on RTL Zvijezde – Ljetni hit 2019.

Lina is from North Macedonia and has had successful hits in the Balkans such as Nema and Odluči se.

Ivana Petkovska has big successes in opera competitions

Ivana Petkovska has won first prize in two opera competitions in her country of North Macedonia. She performed with pianist, Boris, the classic Ave Maria.

In the first competition she achieved 98% to take the top prize. In the second competition, Ivana was in traditional dress and again she took the top honours.

Ivana is very versatile and can adapt pop and opera styles comfortably with her singing.

Infact, we hope to bring you more news about Ivana very soon in relation to a tv pop singing competition.

Ivana together with Magdalena Aleksovska represented now North Macedonia at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Pletenka.
