Originally planned to do this series over a month or two, but it takes a lot of time. INFE Australia, INFE Ireland and INFE South Africa teamed up to pick their favourite Eurovision entry involving a MALE SINGER from each country that have participated in the Eurovision song contest.
ESC Covers was informed this morning of a possible withdrawal from the 2020 Eurovision song contest in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and we were going OH NO NO and singing the Bernie Paul song. Roy van der Merwe especially is sad as their 2019 entry HEAVEN is his second favourite song of 2019.
But due to financial problems and the high costs of participation in the Eurovision, Montenegrin television will not participate and will not send its representative to Rotterdam. We believe the RTCG broadcaster has tried to prevent withdrawal at all costs, and the European Broadcasting Union has extended the time for Montenegrin to make a decision by October 10. Unfortunately, it was not possible to provide funding to start the country in the competition.
Participation cost in Tel Aviv was higher due to Montenegro being drawn in the first semi final and also their group D MOL had 6 members who all had to be accommodated.
The group D-Moll have won the Montevizija 2019 with Heaven and will therefore represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest in May.
Five acts took to the stage in the capital, Podgorica.
D-Moll – Heaven
Andrea Demirović – Ja sam ti san
Monika Knezović – Nepogrješivo
Ivana Popović-Martinović – Nevinost
Nina Petković – Uzmi ili ostavi
D-Moll and Ivana Popović-Martinović made it to the super final and the public finally decided that D-Moll would be the winners.

Although the road to the Eurovision 2018 Grand Final, unfortunately, ended for eight countries last night as they did not each the final, they are also winners as they made it to Eurovision 2018. With 43 countries taking part and only 26 in the final, we all knew 17 countries would not be there. We already said goodbye to 9, and now the final 8 not to make it are:
Georgia: Ethno Jazz Band Iriao “For You”
Beautiful song but maybe a little bias as I was in Tbilisi November 2017 for Junior Eurovision and loved every moment
Latvia: Laura Rizzotto “Funny Girl”
So sad for this, Latvia is my favourite country in Eurovision and the delegation work so hard withe much less people than most other delegations
Malta: Christabelle “Taboo”
Big fan of Thomas Gson songs but I think the staging was not helping the song at all
Montenegro: Vanja Radovanović “Inje”
One of the nicest artists in the press conferences and a very good song but I fear we have had too many similar songs over the years
Poland: Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer “Light Me Up”
This looked and sounded too similar to Norway 2017 for me and as such did not grab my attention
Romania: The Humans “Goodbye”
I like this but had a feeling we will say goodbye to them as the background had just too many masks
Russia: Julia Samoylova “I Won’t Break”
I like the song but thought her 2017 song was more catchy. But Russia kept their promise and brought Julia again in 2018 and I am proudlwy wearing today a t-shirt I got from the delergation
San Marino: Jessika feat. Jenifer Brening “Who We Are”
I have always been a fan of San Marino mainly because I am attacked to the smaller countries and of course Ralph Siegel but you had fantastic videos entered on line and I think you picked totally the wrong song
Jana Mirković represented Montenegro at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Oluja. Now to celebrate her 18th birthday Jana has released a sensational new video of Oluja.
Oluja still sounds outstandingly fresh in 2018 and is perfect for the summer beaches and dancefloors. Jana also has blossomed in to an even more beautiful girl. The video event took place at the Metropol Palace in Belgrade, Serbia. The photos and video of the event are courtesy of Aleksic.
