The D2D Destiny Foundation, a charity based in Vancouver, Canada will be releasing a special collaboration with 5 former Junior Eurovision artists to celebrate World Music Day on June 21st 2021.
Melani & Aubrey Miller have combined to release an amazing new single called Singing Alone. It is an upbeat and happy dance song with a lot of energy. A real feelgood tune!
Several former recent Junior Eurovision stars have been busy lately with a slew of new releases.
2018 contestants Efi Gjika and Darina Krasnovetska have both recently released cover versions of popular songs:
Aug 1st saw Efi Gjika drop a slick new video for her fun cover of Ava Max ‘Salt’ on her YouTube channel and a week earlier Darina Krasnovetska showcased her hugely impressive vocal talents with a cover of the Lady Gaga/Bradley Walsh song ‘Shallow’
2019 contestant Melanie has also been busy with the release of her new song ‘Grita Conmigo’
Also from 2019, Sophia Ivanko (Sophy Ivy), followed up the release of her impressive debut album with a live stream performance of the whole album.
Following up from the initial video release, the final version of the Video of ‘Marte’ by Melanie has been released today.
The song is presented entirely in Spanish but no subtitles are required to understand the environmental message powerfully delivered by the young singer.
Following Netta’s win in 2018 which rode the wave of the ‘Me Too’ movement, one of this year’s hot global news topics seems to be having an influence at Junior Eurovision.

With the upcoming Junior Eurovision contest only a few months away, national selections for many countries are now well underway.
To date, we have 7 confirmed artists and one confirmed song from the Ukraine, who selected Sophia Ivanko with “Koly zdaietsi” ahead of some strong competition.

This year’s contest will take place in Gliwice Poland on 24th November.
Melani Garcia has been selected to represent Spain at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Poland. Melani was chosen internally by the broadcaster RTVE to represent them after a 13 year absence from the contest.
Melani is 12 years old and is from La Eliana in Valencia, Spain. The announcement of Melani’s participation was broadcast on the ‘A partir de hoy’ tv show.
