The last of the missing ones from the Nordic countries -ICELAND. Their entry is called OUR CHOICE and it is sung by ARI OLAFSSON. It is a real pity this ended last in semi final one – for ESC Covers we had it 4th out of the 43 songs. Ari is so charming and has a great voice so hopefully we will see him again at Eurovision in future.
Aron Hannes is going for the finals in Songvakeppnin (Iceland Eurovision Grand Prix) next Saturday. The young singer has had a big year, starting with Tonight coming in 3rd in Songvakeppnin one year ago. Then the summer hits: Sumarnótt and Morgunkoss. All big songs in Iceland last year.
Now he tries for Eurovision again with the smashing hit Gold Digger.
