Bilal Hassani has released a brand new single hot on the heels of the 2019 Eurovision song for France, Roi. The song is entitled Jaloux (Jealous).

Jaloux is composed by Bilal Hassani, Lili Poe and Medeline and is taken from Bilal’s new album Kingdom.

Angélina releases brand new single ‘Maman me dit’

Angélina returns with a brand new song entitled Maman me dit (Mom tells me). It is a catchy and upbeat song with a strong production.

The official video clip of Maman me dit looks like a whole lot of fun with Angélina playing with friends and having pillow fights! The director is Alexandre Saltiel Producteur and is produced by JDP Productions (Videoskillz).

Angélina was the runner up at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Jamais Sans Toi, where she represented France.

Bilal Hassani was recently selected to represent France at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Roi (King). Bilal won the Destination Eurovision national selection largely due to the massive public vote.

Now the official video clip has been released for Roi.

Bilal Hassani has won Destination Eurovision and will represent France at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Roi (King).

Eight acts were in the final –

  • Chimène BadiLá-haut
  • Silván AregAllez leur dire
  • The DivazLa Voix d’Aretha
  • Emmanuel MoireLa Promesse
  • DoutsonSois Un Bon Fils
  • SeemoneTous Les Deux
  • Bilal HassaniRoi
  • AysatComme Une Grande

Bilal struggled to impress in the International Voting phase but he took the top score with the Televoting public and won the competition.

France: 2019 Destination Eurovision – four more acts to the final

The second semi-final of the 2019 Destination Eurovision selection took place with nine acts competing and four of them progressed to the grand final next weekend.

The four acts to make it to the final courtesy of 50% international jury and 50% televoting –

1. SeemoneTout les Deux
2. Emmanuel Moire La Promesse
3. The Divaz La Voix d’Aretha
4. Doutson Sois Un Bon Fils

The acts did not make it through –

Philipelise Madame la Paix

Ugo Ce qui me blesse

Gabriella – On cherche encore (We Never Get Enough)

Tracy de Sa Por Aqui

Noémie – Ma petite famille

2019 Destination Eurovision begins in France – 4 acts qualify for the final

The 2019 Destination Eurovision national selection began in France with the first of two semi-finals. Nine acts participated with four acts qualifying for the final after a combination of televoting and international jury votes.

The following acts have made it to the final –

  • AysatComme une grande
  • Bilal HassaniRoi
  • Chimène Badi – Là-haut
  • Silvàn AregLe Petit Nicolas

The five acts who missed out on the final were –

  • NaestroLe brasier
  • Battista Acquaviva Passio
  • FlorinaIn The Shadow
  • Lautner J’ai pas le temps
  • MazyOulala

Angélina to sing ‘Jamais Sans Toi’ for France at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

France have selected 12 years old Angélina to sing Jamais Sans Toi (Never without you) at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

It is 2004 since France last participated in the JESC.

The four acts who made it to the final were –

Madame Monsieur – Mercy

Max Cinnamon – Ailleur

Nassi – Rêve de gamin

Igit – Lisboa Jérusalem

First place went to Madame Monsieur and you can see their performance below.
