ESC Covers chatted with the 2019 Eurovision contestant of Conan Osiris and his dancer Joao.
The guys were relaxed but a little tired after doing a second run through of their rehearsal due to some technical difficulties.
Conon has released an album and he said the music is somewhat similar to his Eurovision track with dance influence.
Joao advised his dancing was mainly teached himself.

Ida Andia from Romania is today looking at the 14th song from Semi final 1 of the 2019 Eurovision song contest. It is Portugal, last year’s host country.
The entry from Portugal is a really masterpiece. It’s weird, but so special because there are African rhythms. It’s a topical message – ”Cellphones” – the title in English of the Portuguese entry TELEMOVEIS. I appreciate Portugal when every year they send a song in Portuguese. Conan Osíris is a great performer on the stage. I hope Portugal will qualify and will not like last year reach the last place.
Conan Osiris will represent Portugal at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with Telemóveis (Mobile phones) after winning the Festival da Canção.
Let us just say the song is “different”.
