Claudia Faniello has been very busy preparing and promotion her Malta 2017 Eurovision Song Contest entry, Breathlessly. At the weekend she performed a medley of some of her previous Malta Eurovision Song Contest national selection songs on the popular entertainment show on TVM, Sibtek.
Claudia has also released an Italian version of Breathlessly entitled Perdersi. Claudia is actually half Italian.

After several near misses in the past Claudia Faniello has finally won the 2017 Malta national selection and will represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in May in Kiev. Her song is entitled Breathlessly and his composed by the popular composers Philip Vella, Sean Vella and Gerard James Borg.

ESC Covers caught up with Claudia in November in Malta where she was presented with a special compilation CD from South Africa of Afrikaans covers of Maltese Eurovision songs.
Claudia’s brother, Fabrizio, has twice represented Malta at the 2001 and 2006 Eurovision Song Contests.

The popular Maltese singer Claudia Faniello attended the OGAE Party in St. Julians, Malta and Roy van der Merwe presented her with a unique CD of covers by South African artists of Maltese songs including covers of her brother, FabrizioFaniello‘s songs from Eurovision.
Claudia has performed several times at the Malta Song For Europe and had been very close to winning. Some of her songs in the festival include Pure, Caravaggio and Sunrise.
