Go_A have won the Vidbir national selection with the song Solovey (Nightingale) and will represent Ukraine at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam in May.

Solovey is an upbeat ethnic song with vocals similar to the Polish song at Eurovision in 2019 by Tulia.

Hooverphonic will sing ‘Release Me’ for Belgium at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest

Hooverphonic have released Release Me, the song they will represent Belgium with at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.

Release Me is a downbeat track with an almost James Bond soundtrack type sound. It is composed by Alex Callier and Luca Chiaravalli.

France – Eurovision 2020: Tom Leeb releases ‘The Best In Me’

Tom Leeb has released the song he will sing for France at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. It is entitled The Best In Me.

The Best In Me is a power ballad composed by Amir Haddad, John Lundvik, Léa Ivanne, Tom Leeb, Peter Boström and Thomas G:Son. You will recognise legendary Swedish Eurovision writer Thomas G:Son and Peter Bostrom (they together composed Euphoria for example – the 2012 Eurovision winner for Sweden) and also John Lundvik (who represented  Sweden at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest and also composed the United Kingdom song in 2019).

Roxen to represent Romania at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest

Roxen has been internally selected by the broadcaster TVR to represent Romania at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.

Roxen is a popular artist and currently has two songs riding high in the Romanian radio charts. They are You Don’t Love Me (with Sickotoy) and Ce-ti canta dragostea. Both tracks have a strong vibe and cool dance feel.

You Don’t Love Me is not only popular in Romania but is on the high rotation playlists of important radio stations in France, Mexico, U.S., Spain, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Kosovo, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Moldova and she has almost eight million views on YouTube.

Ce-ti canta dragostea is also a big hit with almost nine million views on YouTube and is the most searched Romanian song on Shazam.

The song for Eurovision will be released in the coming weeks.

Diodato wins the 2020 Sanremo festival with ‘Fai rumore’ and is set to represent Italy at Eurovision!

Diodato has won the 2020 Sanremo festival with his song Fai rumore (Make noise). By winning the festival he is expected to represent Italy at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in The Netherlands in May.

Fai rumore is composed Diodato and Edwyn Roberts.

Destiny Chukunyere will represent Malta at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest

Destiny Chukunyere has won the X Factor Malta and will represent Malta at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam in May.

Justine Shorfid finished in the runner up position with the girl group F.A.I.T.H. in third place and Kyle Cutajar in fourth place.

The song for Destiny will be presented in the coming weeks.

Destiny won the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Malta with Not My Soul. Can she make a unique double?!!

Samanta Tina is ‘Still Breathing’ and will represent Latvia at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest

Samanta Tina has won the Supernova national final and will represent Latvia at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with her song Still Breathing.

Samanta composed Still Breathing with Aminita Savadogo (who represented Latvia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest).

The nine songs that took part in the Supernova final were –
