Malta: Giorgia Borg releases new version of ’10’

Giorgia Borg has released a brand new and contemporary version of her song 10. This song propelled her in to the spotlight in the UK where she performed it on her big audition on Britain’s Got Talent in 2019.

10 helped Giorgia, now 12 years old, to impress the BGT judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon and they, and the audience, gave her a standing ovation.

Giorgia also performed 10 in the 2018 Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest national selection.

10 is available to purchase or stream from most digital stores.

Eliana Gomez Blanco took part in the 2018 Malta Junior Eurovision national selection with her song Music Takes Control. The upbeat and lively and quirky track is composed by Matt Muxu Mercieca and  Cyprian Cassar. Eliana gave a strong performance on the stage and showcased her clear and soulful vocals.

Eliana has had some success in festivals and competitions and also released a top music video clip earlier this year. She recorded a cool version of the Cara Emerald track Back It Up.

Kylie Meilak is just 14 years old and is a very talented singer from Malta. She had a very strong song in the recent 2018 Malta Junior Eurovision national selection entitled Crystals composed by Matthew Muxu Mercieca and Elton Zarb. It is a very strong ballad and Kylie performed the song perfectly with a powerful vocal performance.

Let us check out some of Kylie’s performances from including her fabulous video clip of her version of Never Enough by Loren Allred from The Greatest Showman movie soundtrack and her Junior Eurovision song, Crystals.

We will also go back one year to see Kylie perform I Believe by Fantasia in the 2017 Malta Junior Eurovision national selection.

I am sure we will be hearing a lot more of Kylie in the near future.

The 2018 Malta Junior Eurovision national selection will take place on Saturday 8 September. Now TVM have made all the songs available to listen to and also they give profiles on all of the acts.
