In a fabulous show and a tense voting finale, Roksana Węgiel, won the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took the trophy home to Poland with her song Anyone I Want To Be.
After the jury voting Australia won the jury voting but the decisive moments came with the online voting. It was down to just two countries in the end. France and Poland…..and it was Poland who took the top marks and took top honours.
Congratulations to all 20 countries and the EBU and BTRC for a wonderful show.

Manw will represent Wales for the first time at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Sunday with the charming Perta.
Today she gave her second rehearsal with her team of dancers. It looked beautiful on the screen and on the stage. The show begins with a close up of Manw and the girl dancers. Then the performance flows beautifully with lovely choreography and a background of mountains and birds.
Manw looked very relaxed at the press conference. She is looking forward to being on the stage and she will give 100% and is proud to be the first Welsh representative. She also explained that she will continue to sing and would like to act. She enjoys drama at school. Manw also love to ski.
Manw took part in the famous national Eisteddfod festival in Wales at jut 4 years old. his gave her a taste for the stage.
A special mention to the dancers with Manw from the Dawnswyr Anti Karen – Sian, Nel, Neli, Gwen. The do a great job.
Taylor Hynes will represent Ireland at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Sunday with the upbeat and happy vibe of IOU.
Today he appeared relaxed and enjoying the occasion at the press conference for Ireland. He is happy with his rehearsals. In the first set of rehearsals on Tuesday he was uncomfortable wearing one jacket and it did not suit the cameras also. So he changed it and now he is feeling good.
He has received inspiring advice from previous Irish participants Zena (2016) and Aimee (2015). He also enjoyed making the video clip featuring previous Irish Eurovision contestants Niamh Kavanagh (1993 winner) and Ryan O’Shaughnessy (1028). He said it was a lot of fun.
Taylor is joined on stage by two amazing dancers from the Fit Kids Fit Teens Ireland dance academy. They are Abo Obhakhan and Daphney Ndjatang.
Young journalists again are reporting for the kids tv channel Teledetki from St Petersburg in Russia.
ESC Covers first discovered Elizaveta and Mariia in 2016 in Malta at the Junior Eurovision. Now in 2018 in Minsk we welcome three charming young reporters.
The journalists this year are Daria, Elis and Maria. They are doing a great job and making questions at press conferences and interviewing some acts.
We wish the girls good luck and hope they enjoy this unique experience.
The beautiful Bojana Radovanović gave a charming show on the stage at the first rehearsal of Svet for Serbia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Bojana was dressed in a lovely white dress and wore a bow in her hair. She sprinkled stardust in the air as she skipped around the stage in a captivating way.
The overall stage show was beautifully presented and should appeal to a wide audience.
Rita Laranjeira gave a sparkling performance on the stage at the first rehearsal for Portugal and Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada).
Rita looked fabulous in her black dress with pink spots. Her vocals were very good and she looked confident on the stage. Part of the way through the screen splits. There is also an armchair.
A really good upbeat and happy performance. Good luck to Portugal.
The running order of the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been made. The opening and closing country and Belarus position was made at the opening party on Monday.
Masha Zhilina performed her popular song Welcome To My Belarus at the Opening Party of the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Welcome To My Belarus was the runner up song in the Belarussian national final for JESC. It is an anthem of a song and Masha has a big stage personality.
