Vasya Boykova and her support for Belarus with ‘My Hieroi’

Vasya Boykova has recorded My Hieroi (We Are The Heroes) in support and solidarity of the people with the current situation of protests in Belarus. The song is a cover of the Litesound anthemic Eurovision hit, We Are The Heroes, from 2012.

Vasya is from Ukraine and she took part with many people in a day of action in Kiev support of their Belarussian neighbours.

Vasya has a nice and clear vocal and she has recorded several quality covers of songs including covers of three songs from the 2020 Eurovision – Fall From The Sky (Albania), Empires (Poland) and Fai rumore (Italy).

Italian songs are also a speciality for Vasya. She recently recorded Meraviglioso amore mio by Arisa and the evergreen Ti Amo by Umberto Tozzi.

Pasha Parfeni x Nicoleta Nucă  have a released a brand new song Lasă-Mă (Let me). It is a very radio friendly and catchy upbeat song with a strong production.

Lasă-Mă is composed by Pasha Parfeni, Fox Banger and Vica Demici. The production is by Fox Banger and Pasha Parfeni. The mixing and mastering is by Valentin Voluta.

Pasha represented Moldova at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with Lăutar. He was back at Eurovision in 2013 as a composer for Aliona Moon and her song O Mie.

Nicoleta is also from Moldova and has had several hit songs and music videos in Romania and Moldova.

Maya Sar has released a new song called Hvala (Thank you). It is a slow Balkan style ballad and well performed.

Hvala is composed by Maya Sar. The arrangement is by Maya and Mahir Sarihodžić. Mahir was the music producer also.

Maya represented Bosnia-Herzegovina at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku with Korake ti znam.

Pastora Soler & Blas Cantó have teamed up for a brand new single and music video for their song Mi luz (My light). It is an upbeat latino track with a powerful production.

Pastora Soler represented Spain at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan with the anthemic power ballad Quédate conmigo.

Blas Cantó was selected to represent Spain at the now cancelled 2020 Eurovision with the song Universo but he will represent Spain at the 2021 contest.

Kurt Calleja & Karin Duff cover ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ by Lady Gaga

Kurt Calleja & Karin Duff have covered Always Remember Us This Way by Lady Gaga from the A Star Is Born Movie Soundtrack. It is a laidback and chilled out song that suits the vocals of both Kurt and Karin.

The guitars are by Kurt Calleja and Wayne Camilleri (Kat Allergy Studios) with bass by Neville Mallia (Kat Allergy Studios). The production is by Cyprian Cassar at Somnio Studios. Kurt also plays the piano on the recording.

Kurt represented Malta at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with This Is The Night.

Karin recently made it all the way to the Judges Houses phase of the X Factor Malta.

Pastora Soler releases her brand new song – ‘La Tormenta’

Pastora Soler was a big fan favourite in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan with her song Quédate conmigo. Now she returns with another show stopping power ballad entitled La Tormenta (Storm).

The man behind the song is legendary Swedish composer Thomas G:son.

Michelay covers Kaliopi’s Crno I Belo in Afrikaans language on her new album

Michelay is a new and talented star from South Africa. She is about to release her debut album entitled Rise. The album will feature a collection of songs that Michelay wrote herself plus some special covers and is produced by popular musician Johan Kelber. The album will feature a very unique version of Kaliopi‘s 2012 Eurovision entry Crno I Belo in the Afrikaans language and the title is Sy’s Net ‘n Mens.

The Rise album can currently be streamed from https://michelay.bandpage.com/ website but it will shortly be available on all digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Google Play.

Željko Joksimović releases new single – ‘Olovni vojnik’

Željko Joksimović has released a brand new single entitled Olovni vojnik (Tin soldier). He has also released the official video to accompany the song. It is composed by Željko and Ljilja Jorgovanović.

Željko represented Serbia at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey with Lane moje and the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan with Nije ljubav stvar. He composed those songs as well as composing the entries for Jelena Tomašević (Oro – 2008 ESC Serbia), Hari Mata Hari (Lejla – 2006 ESC Bosnia-Herzegovina) and Knez (Adio – 2015 ESC Montenegro). He was also one of the presenters of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, Serbia.

Litesound & Brothers Zapashny unique Russian Circus Show

Litesound rocked the Eurovision stage for Belarus in 2012 with We Are The Heroes. Their lively stage show and impressive sound was liked by many fans around Europe and the world.

Now Litesound have joined with Brothers Zapashny for a new project. It is for the unique Russian Circus run by Edgard and Askold Zapashny who have a rich history with the circus dynasty lasting over 100 years. Litesound have made a brand new video clip for their new song UFO. It will be used with the circus project. It features a spectacular story with a flight of the UFO and meeting amazing creatures with performances by the best acts from the Big Russian Moscow Circus. The acts include the Titchenkovy Sisters who play alien girls over 2 metres high.

UFO is composed by the brothers, Dimitry and Vladimir Karakiny, and they also wrote the video. The song is set to be a big hit in Russia and Belarus and other territories.

The circus show has already played to 10,000 people at Minsk Arena in Belarus to rave reviews.
