A day or two ago the 2024 Junior Eurovision song from ESTONIA was released. It was composed by SVEN LOHMUS who have in the past composed four Estonian entries for the main Eurovision song contest.
ESC Covers have been attending all 4 the Eurovisions where SVEN was the composer for their entry.
The first time was 2005 when the group SUNTRIBE represented Estonia with LET’S GET LOUD in Kyiv.
The second time was 2009 when the group URBAN SYMPHONY represented Estonia with RANDAJAD in Moscow.
The third time was 2011 when GETTER JAANI represented Estonia with ROCKEFELLER STREET in Dusseldorf.
The forth time was 2017 when the duo KOIT TOOME & LAURA represented Estonia with VERONA in Kyiv.
Over the next couple of days ESC COVERS will focus on each entry because they hold quite a record in that all four songs have been covers in South Africa in Afrikaans. So we will present each original entry and its cover.
