The talented sisters from Bulgaria, Presiyana & Mirella Dimitrova, will take to the Balgariya tarsi talent (Bulgaria’s Got Talent) stage this weekend in the grand final. But great news for the girls ahead of this competition is that they have both just had winning success in music festivals as solo performers.
Presiyana has just won the prestigious Boztorgai Grand Prix competition in Almaty, Kazahkstan. Mirella was a guest performer also in this festival.
Mirella recently won the XXV Anniversary European Youth Pop-Rock competition ‘Sarandev’ in Dobrich, Bulgaria. She performed a Bulgarian song Tŭĭ kato az byakh (As I was) and Renasker by Dulce Pontes (1991 ESC Portugal participant). By the way Presiyana was runner up in this competition.
Now after this wonderful success the girls return to being a duo and will compete in the grand final of Balgariya tarsi talent this coming weekend. Presiyana & Mirella have a lot of respect and support heading in to the final. In the semi-final they performed Caruso as recorded by Lara Fabian (1988 ESC Luxembourg participant).
ESC Covers wishes Presiyana & Mirella good luck in the final of Balgariya tarsi talent. Who knows…we may well see the girls at a future Eurovision representing Bulgaria.
