Sandhja will represent Finland at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Sing It Away’

Sandhja has won the 2016 UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) national selection in Finland with Sing It Away and will represent her country at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in May. Nine acts competed in the final and they were –

  3. Annica Milán & Kimmo BlomGood Enough
  4. EiniDraamaa
  5. Barbe-Q-Barbies Let Me Out
  6. Tuuli OkkonenDon’t Wake Me Up
  7. SandhjaSing It Away
  8. Saara AaltoNo Fear
  9. Mikael SaariOn It Goes

The results were decided with a combination of jury and televoting. Special guests included Lordi (Finland winners at ESC 2006)  and Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (Finland ESC 2015).

Sandhja won the right to represent her country at the Eurovision in May. You can see her perform Sing It Away below.
