
After Claudia Faniello‘s successful win for Malta with Breathlessly, the full public voting results of the 2017 Malta Eurovision Song Contest final have been released by the broadcaster PBS.

- Brooke Borg – Unstoppable – 2,000 votes
- Franklin Calleja –Follow Me – 1,303 votes
- Maxine Pace – Bombshell – 627 votes
- Deborah C & Josef Tabone – Tonight – 572 votes
- Raquella – Ray Of Light – 551 votes
- Cherton Caruana – Fighting To Survive – 340 votes
- Klinsmann Coleiro – Laserlight – 332 votes
- Rhiannon – Fearless – 288 votes
- Crosswalk – So Simple – 245 votes
- Richard Edwards – You – 186 votes
- Jade Vella – Seconds Away – 166 votes
- Shauna Vassallo – Crazy Games – 159 votes
- Miriana Conte – Don’t Look Down – 156 votes
You will see it was a straight race between Claudia and the song performed in the Maltese language by Janice Mangion, Kewkba. The acts between third and fifth place received votes in the thousands but from sixth to last place the votes were in the hundreds.

Glad the Maltese song came second
Wow… the voting was close. The results were a surprise to me as I thought Brooke Borg would take it home. Maybe they need to bring the judges back 🙂

Seems like “You” would have been better titled “Me.” Ha ha. I have a hard time predicting what Malta will pick each year!
