The first semi-final of Festival da Canção 2024 selection took place in Portugal with six acts qualifying for the final on 9 March.

The six songs and acts –

• Perpétua – Bem Longe Daqui (Far away from here)
• Rita Rocha – Pontos Finais (End points)
• Noble – Memory
• João Borsch – Pelas Costuras (Through the seams)
• Iolanda – Grito (Scream)
