For several days to come we will look at the German Eurovision winner of 1982 NICOLE and original songs by her that have been covered by South African artists in Afrikaans or English.

The 15th NICOLE song is STRASSEN, DIE NACH HAUSE FUHR’N from 1982.

There is three  Afrikaans covers of the song. One is on Youtube, the other two are not.

RINA HUGO covered it as HOEKOM IS DIE HEMEL BLOU. This is the one that is on Youtube.

Both IAN MOOLMAN and SO WHAT covered it also as HOEKOM IS DIE HEMEL BLOU. Their covers are not on Youtube.
