In 1979 a group by the name of DSCHINGHIS KHAN represented GERMANY at the Eurovision song contest with a song with the same name.

Now years later a new DSCHINGHIS KHAN recorded their version of the song DSCHINGHIS KHAN which was composed by Ralph Siegel with lyrics by Bernd Meinunger.
