For the entire month of February, ESC Covers will take every day a South African artist/group/duo on a virtual tour to Europe plus. We will visit 28 countries.

Day 11takes us to AZERBAIJAN.  The SA artists who will be “touring” there, are DAVID FOURIE & MONIQUE STEYN. They e decided to “tour” to Azerbaijan today because the country announced yesterday the names of the songs from which their 2021 Eurovision entry will be selected and hope maybe they will get a “sneak” preview of the songs and hear if there is maybe another good song they can cover in Afrikaans.

David Fourie & Monique Steyn covered the 2011 Eurovision entry from AZERBAIJAN RUNNING SCARED by Ell & Nikki. It turned out the winner for 2011 and is Azerbaijan’s first and only victory so far. David & Monique’s cover is called MY HART HET KLAAR BESLUIT (My heart has already decided).
