Malta’s winner has been ‘served’! Will Miriana Conte’s ‘Kant’ ‘ace’ in Basel?

The winner of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (MESC 2025) has just been announced! Miriana Conte will be serving ‘Kant’ at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, taking place later in the year.

16 artists and songs took part in tonight’s Grand Final, but Miriana Conte’s ‘Kant’ sneaked into the top spot at the very last minute, narrowly beating jury-favourite ‘Heaven Sent’ by Kristy Spiteri.

She gave ESC Covers a short message, moments after the end of the live show, which you can watch on our YouTube Shorts reel below:

The full list of points from tonight’s program were as follows:

Congratulations, Miriana! We look forward to what else you serve and bring to the plate in May!

Malta’s broadcaster, PBS have released a video of the exciting results section, showing just how close the results were, which you can check out on their YouTube channel.

You can also catch Miriana Conte’s winning performance below. Let us know in the comments how you think it will perform in Basel in May!

ESC Covers wish all contestants the best of luck in the future, and we would like to give PBS/TVM an extra thank you for allowing us to provide coverage of the MESC 2025 show!

  1. Fantastic show. Congratulations Miriana…and thanks to PBS for their fantastic hospitality this last week 😊

  2. Andy and Ian you did a fantastic job for ESC COVERS website. I struggled to keep up at home in Johannesburg to post everything.

  3. On behalf of the ESC COVERS website, the only Eurovision website in Africa, a big thank to the people in MALTA for allowing us to cover this event. I myself have been in Malta once in 2016 for Junior Eurovision and loved it.
