The first semi-final of  Söngvakeppnin 2025  national selection in Iceland took place with three acts qualifying for the final on 22 February.

Five acts competed in the first semi-final-

1. Stebbi JAK – Frelsið mitt (My freedom)
2. BIRGO – Ég flýg í storminn (I fly into the storm)
3. Ágúst – Eins og þú (Like you)
4. BIA – Norðurljós (Northern lights)
5. VÆB – RÓA (CALM)
