Alan Tubery informed ESC Covers that HOWARD CARPENDALE will tour during 2024.

HOWARD CARPENDALE was born in Durban, South Africa and sang songs and performed but he was never successful. He then decided to try his luck at the start of the 70’s in the UK and there he was discovered by someone from a German record company and then moved there where he got married, raised a family and became one of Germany’s top singers.

ESC Covers are not sure if he tried at the German Eurovision selection in any year but he had many great hits and even some of his songs were covered in South Africa, both in English and Afrikaans.

As an artist. he is almost totally unknown in South Africa which is such a pity.
