Helena Meraai has been chosen to represent Belarus at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia in November with her song Ya samaja (I am). She won the top votes from the public and expert jury to earn the right to carry the Belarussian flag to Tbilis
In an outstanding show of songs of a very high standard 10 acts took to the stage.

There was also an interval of top junior acts including Alexander Minyonok (2016 Belarus JESC entrant). One of the hosts of the show was Mr Cheesecake himself Teo (2014 ESC Belarus).
