Greta Salóme to sing ‘Hear Them Calling’ for Iceland at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest

Greta Salóme will fly the Icelandic flag at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the 2016 Söngvakeppnin with her song Hear Them Calling. She competed against five more acts to earn the title. The six acts competing were –

The first round of voting was split between jury and televoting resulting in a super final between Greta Salóme and Alda Dís Arnardóttir. Then total televoting decided the winner.

  1. The Crow meets Mans Zelmerlow. I like the song, but with the volume off, I feel like I’ve seen it before. I hope they change the stage performance and costumes.
