EURO MUSICA has written about the new  song by the group WE ARE DOMI from CZECHIA. The report is in Italian and ESC Covers translated it to English.

“Glow”, the latest single from the Czech band We Are Domi , was released on January 19th (you will remember them for their participation in Eurovision 2022, in Turin, with “Lights Off” ). The song, with its unmistakable electronic sounds typical of the band combined with an enveloping melody, transports listeners on an internal journey through winter emotions, with lyrics that paint an evocative portrait of the cold season.

The band, formed by singer Dominika Hašková , guitarist Casper Hatlestad and keyboardist Benjamin Rekstad , had in some ways “spoiled” the song in 2020 in a live home version that can be found on their Facebook page. Long-time fans, therefore, were not surprised to hear the spoiler published a few days ago in a post on the official Instagram profile.

“Glow” tells of a winter, cold but fascinating, which begins with the beauty of the falling snow, the days that are getting shorter and the light that is falling. The cold, however, arrives and also cools the soul, which is enveloped by the darkness left by the sun that set too soon, and with it also comes the feeling of loneliness. The fear of disappearing takes over.

Sometimes, however, that loss brings new life, a metaphorical rebirth that shines with a new light. The world turns too fast, life goes on and things happen. Winter therefore arrives and brings, literally, a breath of fresh air, and that is precisely the time to let go and shine.

The song, which features We Are Domi along with Ronald Janecek and Frankie Harper , is available to listen to on all streaming platforms.
