FYR Macedonia will be represented by Martija Stanojković at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Whilst we await her song and video for Love Will Lead Our Way let us look back at the history of FYR Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision.

The first act to represent FYR Macedonia was in the very first contest in 2003. It was Marija & Viktorija with Ti ne me poznavaš and they finished in 12th place. The best position for FYR Macedonia is 5th place. They have done this on two occasions. First in 2007 with Rosica Kulakova & Dimitar Stojmenovski and Ding Ding Dong and then in 2008 with Bobi Andonov and Prati mi SMS.

FYR Macedonia are one of ESC Covers favourite countries in Junior Eurovision and they have had many good songs including also Anja Veterova with Eooo, Eooo in 2010, Barbara Popović with Ohrid i muzika and Ivana Petkovska & Magdalena Aleksovska with Pletenka – Braid Of Love in 2015.
