JONY is a popular Russian and Azerbaijani pop and R&B singer. His real name is Jahid Huseynli. He was born in Baku (Azerbaijan), but has lived in Moscow since the age of age four.

JONY began his musical career by recording covers of famous songs. In 2018, JONY, together with his friends Elman and Andro, created the music label RAAVA Music. The video clip for the song Alley received more than 100 million views on YouTube and brought the singer fame beyond globally. In September 2019, JONY released the song, Comet, which soon topped the Apple Music chart and became the singer’s “calling card.” In 2020, the album ‘Heavenly Roses’ was released. The most successful were four songs: You are merciless (Ty besposchadna), The world has gone crazy (“Mir soshel s uma”), You bet (Ty pari) and It’s raining outside the window (“Za oknom dozhdi).
