Finland held the first of three semi-final of the 2016 UMK national selection series. Six acts performed and three progressed through to the final.
The six acts and songs were –
- Saara Aalto – No Fear
- Stella Christine – Ain’t Got Time for Boys
- Eini – Draamaa
- Mikko Herranen – Evil Tone
- Clemso – Thief
- Pää-Äijät – Shamppanjataivas
Televoting and online votes decided who would progress. The three acts that made it were
- Saara Aalto
- Stella Christine
- Eini

So DRAAMAA made it, so typical of Finnish, all the vocals.
DRAAMAA is one of my favorites. Saara Aalto and Stella Christine both did incredibly well. Next week will be the hard one! Too many good ones in one group!
