Who doesn’t like a little country style music? Am not a big fan of country music but Red and Blue grow on me with the more i played it the higher i began to place it in my list of 42 songs. An easy and chessy song with silly lyrics such as blue is blue and red is red blalalalala well done ManuElla you got that song stuck in my head. With saying all that i did want to see Slovenia in the final my weakness for balkan countries. A cheeky song and a beautiful lady a good performance
So… I do like this song… even with the hefty amount of cheese it came with (read: clothing change). I didn’t quite understand the stage performance. The addition of Jannik Baltzer Hattel (the Danish acrobat) basically added nothing (but eye candy) to the song. In fact, he almost knocked her while he was swinging around there. But, I still like the song, even if Country music is not my genre. I was surprised Slovenia chose it. Although, Slovenia is usually in my top 10, this one didn’t make the cut. But, ManuElla did her best.
Not a fan of country music but it does make the occasional Eurovision appearance, we also had it with Netherlands this year. This one was not altogether bad although the shirtless pole dancer… didn’t really know why he was there I don’t think the performance needed him.
