Michelle Stigwood is a member of OAGE  Rest of the world living in Australia. She is the third person to tell us of her Discotheque memory. We are doing this because the group THE ROOP from Lithuania picked a song called Discotheque for the 2021 Eurovision song contest. We allowed people to also pick a non Eurovision song, if such a song brings back special memories.

Michelle writes as follows:

My best disco memory goes way back to Brisbane 1969 and the first disco I attended. I wore an orange Polyester skivvy, navy pinstripe pants with silver buttons and a necklace with a Surfboard swinging from it. I had a fantastic night dancing and the only song I remember clearly was “Crimson and Clover” by Tommy James and the Shondells.
