IT’S AMINATA FOR LATVIA

Last night, the Final of Supernova took place, choosing the Latvian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Four finalists took part in the show and in the end Aminata Savadogo took the crown and will be flying the Latvian flag in Vienna with her entry Love Injected.

Aminata missed out on representing Latvia last year when she came 5th in the national selection show which was won by Aarzemneiki. Will 2015 be Latvia’s year? Will they reach the Final in Vienna?

THIRD QUESTION – of 12

N R K, the Norwegian broadcaster, announced today the 11 songs for their selection for Vienna. It is a comeback for TOR ENDRESEN who has represented Norway before at Eurovision. I was playing with the idea to ask a very tough question and then discovered I do not even know the answer myself. Tor was in the Norwegian selection many years ago with a song called RADIO LUXEMBOURG. It did not win that year (I wanted to ask which year but then discovered I do not even know myself) but the song became a huge hit. The interesting aspect of this song is that it was composed by ROLF LOVLAND who wrote the 1985 and 1995 Eurovision winners and of course the world wise success YOU RAISE ME UP. So the easy question is, what is the song called that Tor had in the Eurovision – it is a famous city in the USA. This fits in well with his new song ALL OVER THE WORLD, so lets hope we get people all over the world entering our competition
