Slovenia is the next OGAE club to reveal its voting. It has decided to vote for the 26 songs they think would be in the final and they revealed positions 1 to 26. This is the first break in tradition – they have a new country at their top song and also the first club not to have the Netherlands in their top 10.
We continue with Ida Andia of Romania’s predictions as to which songs/countries will reach the Eurovision final from semi final 1.
“Sebi” (”To Yourself”), Slovenia’s 2019 entry, is a beautiful song, a chill one. It is being performed by Zala Kralj and Gasper Santi. Sometimes I just think I will fall asleep, the melody of the song is very linear. Slovenia is one of my favourite countries in the Eurovision Song Contest; it has sent good songs in the last years but this one could make Slovenia to remain in the semifinal, especially after last year’s surprise qualification for many fans.
