Portugal: Rita Laranjeira performs at Kids On Broadway production … and will appear at Eurovision Live Concert 2019

Rita Laranjeira has been performing on the stage at the Kids On Broadway production in Portugal. She impressed many with her versatile and confident interpretations of songs and dancing including Freedom by Beyoncé and Breathing Under Water by Emeli Sandé.

Rita was part of the Kids On Broadway project at the Capitólio in Lisbon for Nas Asas da Liberdade (On the wings of liberty). A big thanks to the whole cast and production team for an incredible show.

Rita is will this weekend be a special guest at the Eurovision Live Concert 2019 in Setubal on 31 August in Portugal.

Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada) was the song that Rita performed in Belarus representing Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Rita Laranjeira pays tribute to 25 April Carnation Revolution in Portugal with ‘E depois do Adeus’

 Rita Larajeira has paid a musical tribute to the Carnation Revolution that took place in Portugal on 25 April 1974. She plays the song E depois do Adeus, which was the Portuguese Eurovision song by Paulo de Carvalho in 1974, and it was used as a signal to begin the Carnation Revolution against the Estado Novo regime at the time. Rita pays tribute 45 years on from the event.

Rita continues to show her versatility as a young artist. She represented Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Gosto De Tudo (Já Nāo Gosto De Nada).

Portugal: Watch Rita Laranjeira sing ‘Eu sei’ by Sara Tavares

Rita Laranjeira has recently performed on a couple of occasions Eu sei (I know) by Sara Tavares (1994 ESC Portugal representative).

She made a video at the college, where she met her first vocal teacher. The second was a performance was also with the teacher from the Colégio são José – Ramalhão. Rita was invited to sing at the Figueira Voz Fest in Portugal. On both videos she shows her powerful and clear vocals.

Rita also had a little fun where she made a light-hearted video for the Festive season, where wandered through a store enjoying the Christmas decorations and toys, and wishing everybody a Merry Christmas.

Rita represented Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the catchy Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada).

Rita Laranjeira busy with festive appearances in Portugal

Rita Laranjeira has been busy since representing Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her upbeat song Gosto de Tudo. She has been showing her versatility as a young and talented artist.

Rita has appeared on tv performing Gosto de Tudo on the special edition of Natal dos Hospitais on RTP.

Also, Rita performed with the Kids On Broadway project on TVI.

Rita then took part in the Rock The 80s concerts as well as performing in several Christmas shows.

Rita Laranjeira gave a sparkling performance on the stage at the first rehearsal for Portugal and Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada).

Rita looked fabulous in her black dress with pink spots. Her vocals were very good and she looked confident on the stage. Part of the way through the screen splits. There is also an armchair.

A really good upbeat and happy performance. Good luck to Portugal.

Rita Laranjeira has been revealed as the act who will represent Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus in November.

A special jury selected Rita to sing for Portugal from a shortlist of 10 singers.

A music video will be filmed in due course after the song has been selected. The song will be announced in the coming weeks.
