Salto Nazad Band is the second finalist of Ukraine National selection.Salto Nazad Band (Eng. Back flip) was created in 2011. The band consists of Sasha Tab , Yana Dryupina , Sergey Sidorenko, Alexandra Polovinskaya.
They have many songs in Ukranian and Russian languages.
For Ukraine National selection they chose the song “O Mamo”. Authors : Vanek Klimenko ( lyrics), Sashko Deyinde Alexander Ognevets – music.
The message of song – talking about love and family values.
In the 1st semifinal Salto Nazad Band finished on the 2nd place and became the finalist (6 points from tv-voting and 8 points from jury).Video –

On the 4 of February in Kiev was the 1st semifinal of Ukraine National selection 2017.
8 contestants took part there. But only 2 were chosen for the Grand final, which will on February 25.
And the first finalist is Tayanna.
Tayanna (real name – Tatyana Reshetnyak) is the famous Ukranian singer and composer.
Many people know her from the famous Ukranian band “Goryachiy shokolad” (Hot chocolate), where she was from 2008 to 2011.
In 2011 she decided to start the solo musical career, but success she got only in 2014.
Her debut single “Znayu I veryu ” (I know and believe) headed the main radio charts in the country.
In 2015 Tatyana took part in 5 seasons of tv-show ” The Voice of Ukraine ” and finished there on 2nd place.
After participating in “The Voice ” her popularity increased.
In 2016 appeared her solo album “9 pesen iz zhizni” (9 songs from the life). A lot of songs from this album are so popular in Ukraine now.
Also she started to work with famous producer Alan Badoev.
Alan created many video clips for Tayanna. Also he works with Ani Lorak, VIA GRA, Markus Riva, Irina Bilyk, Svetlana Loboda, Valeriy Meladze, Gaitana and other famous Ukranian and Russian singers.
In 2017 Tayanna decided to take part in Ukraine national selection for Eurovision 2017 with the song “I love you”, which she wrote with the famous Ukranian singer Max Barskih.
On the 1st semifinal of selection she took the 1 place and became the first finalist.
