Malta: Demi Galea rocks on The Entertainers – Singing Challenge with ‘Black Velvet’

Demi Galea is currently taking part in the popular The Entertainers – Singing Challenge on Net tv in Malta.

At the weekend Demi rocked the show with her version of the Alannah Myles song Black Velvet.  She gave a confident performance and appeared to be enjoying every minute of being on the stage.

Demi also has a song in contention for the 2019 L-Għanja tal-Poplu competition. The song is called Fil-Fond (Deep). It is composed by Rita Pace and Mark Spiteri Lucas.

Demi appeared in the 2017 Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest national selection.

Malta: Demi Galea has success at the Ally -El Entertainment Singers Festival

Demi Galea took to the stage this week at the Ally -El Entertainment Singers Festival in Malta. Demi did an amazing job and impressed and won first prize in the category 13-15 years old after performing three songs. She has a beautiful trophy for her hard work. You can see her above with her prize and with Mike Spiteri (1995 ESC Malta).

Demi is just 15 years old and has powerful and soulful voice. The song she impressed with at the festival were I’m Going Down by Mary J Blige, She Said by Plan B and Say Something of Zhavia.

She will this year represent Malta at the Tour Music Fest in the Junior singers category. This is a showcase for new and young singers and singer-songwriters. The international final will be in Rome, Italy.

Demi took part in the 2017 Malta Junior Eurovision national final selection and performed the song Breathin’ Under Water by Emeli Sandé.

Demi Galea will represent Malta in Tour Music Fest in Junior singers category

Demi Galea is a promising young singer from Malta and she will represent her country at the Tour Music Fest – European Music Contest in the Junior singers category. Demi impressed everybody at the auditions held in Sliema, Malta recently

The Tour Music Fest is a showcase for new and young singers and singer-songwriters. Artists from all over Europe will be participating. The international final will be held in Rome, Italy.

Demi took part in the 2017 Malta Eurovision Song Contest national selection where she performed a cover of Breathing Under Water by Emeli Sandé. She is maturing all the time as an artist and the Tour Music Fest will be a great stage to demonstrate her huge potential.

2017 Malta JESC finalist: Spotlight on Demi Galea

There was some amazing talent in the 2017 Malta Junior Eurovision national selection. Today we focus on Demi Galea. In the final she covered the Emeli Sandé song Breathing Under Water and she gave a very mature and entertaining performance.

She has been a part of The Entertainers – Singing Challenge on Net tv in Malta. She performed classic songs such as If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys and Hero by Mariah Carey.

She has also performed at the Kalamita Festival and sang I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston. In 2015 Demi appeared in the KKI Junior contest with the song Ta’ Kuljum (Daily). Demi has taken part in festivals such as the 2016 Misrah Il-Milied Song Festival, San Remo Junior festival in 2014 and also Ally-El Entertainment Singer’s Festival in 2017 (where she performed At Last by Etta James.

As you will see from the videos below Demi can sing very difficult and mature songs and do an awesome interpretation. I am sure we will also be seeing a lot her in the future.
