I was privileged to be invited to a special event in Yerevan, Armenia at the Play Café held in my honour by the successful and respected ArmDreams Production company.

I was particularly interested in meeting the songwriter and producer, Armen Virabyan, and of course meet some of the most talented young singers in Armenia. It was a very beautiful occasion and I made a point of interviewing and chatting with everybody who attended the wonderful event including Anahit Arakelyan, Ani Mnatsakanyan, Melisa, Mary and Levon Serobyan and Elina Cholakhyan, as well the charming parents of the singers.

We had a beautiful table of sweets and desserts and drinks and ice cream and tasty fruits. There was music with a selection of wonderful video clips from the ArmDreams team including the charming singers who attended. I presented some little gifts from England to the young singers as a thank you and a good luck to all of them

In the coming days I will be focusing on all of the acts individually who attended the event and we will be looking at their songs and video clips.

Three of the acts who came – Ani Mnatsakanyan, Melisa and Anahit Arakelyan – will shortly be taking part in the Armenian Junior Eurovision national selection show – Depi Evratesil. Indeed, Armen Virabyan wrote and produced Anahit’s song.
