Roy van der Merwe presented Alexa with a small prize and the ESC Covers congratulated her on her voice and appearance.
Alexa Curtis will represent Australia at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta in November. The song choice will be revealed soon by the broadcaster, SBS.
Alexa was the winner of The Voice Kids Australia in 2014.
