Laura Rizzotto returns with ‘Ross & Rach’

Laura Rizzotto has released her new single called Ross & Rach. The track is a  pleasant soulful pop song. The music video is played out like an American sitcom and it is one and a half minutes before we hear the start of the song.

Ross & Rach is composed by Laura Rizzotto and produced by @softserveboy & Laura Rizzotto. The mixing is by Pablo San Martin and mastered by Jett Galindo.

Laura represented Latvia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with Funny Girl.

Alizzz & Amaia performed their new song El Encuentro as part of the Gallery sessions at AcidHouse, Barcelona 2020. It is a window display to showcase Live Music Sessions.

El Encuentro is a catchy and upbeat track with strong beat and production.

Amaia & Alfred represented Spain at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with Tu canción after participating in the Operación Triunfo tv show. Amaia won the 2017-18 season of the series.

SuRie to host live streaming party event to your homes on 29 March

As the London Eurovision Party has been cancelled, one of the hosts that should have been, SuRie will live stream across social networks for a “substitute singsong” on 29 March.

Malta International Singer Stage 2018

The Malta International Singer Stage 2018 festival took place in Valletta. It is an event that brings together young talent, not just from Malta, but from other countries.

Congratulations to the various winners including Kayley Cuschieri took the fourth place prize in one of the top categories, Maltin Biss Grand Prix – Krista Sujak, Junior Grand Prix – Ronan Alexandru Comanescu from Romania. The Grand Prix Winner was Martina Abela. Also involved and amongst the judges was Emil Calleja Bayliss (composer of the 2017 and 2018 Malta Junior Eurovision songs).

Guests included Ela Mangion, Michela Galea, Sarah Bonnici and also the Kinetic Dance Studios.

The presenters were Aidan J Drakard, Ian J Vella and Anhelica Pace.

A special mention about Anhelica, who is developing in to a top all round singer and presenter. She recently had a big success by winning the 13-15 years old category at the 2018 Tra La La festival in FYR Macedonia. Anhelica got to perform a couple of songs Stone Cold by Demi Lovato and To Be Human by Sia feat. Labrinth.

Wales: Take a look at the finalists of 2018 Chwilio am Seren (JESC national selection)

Over the last few weeks viewers on the tv channel, S4C, have been searching for potential stars to represent Wales for the first time at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The contestants have been narrowed down gradually and last week we saw 12 young singers take to a stage in the Quadrant Shopping Centre in Swansea. This was to give the kids a taste of performing to the public.

Six singers were selected for the grand final of the 2018 Chwilio am Seren national selection to be broadcast on Tuesday 9 October in Llandudno in Wales.

Let us take a look at the finalists and their performances (all in the Welsh language and including a version of the winning ESC song of 2014 by Conchita WurstRise Like A Phoenix) in Swansea –

Armenia: 2018 Depi Mankakan Evratesil Junior selection – five acts qualify in first semi-final

The first semi-final of the 2018 Depi Mankakan Evratesil (Junior Eurovision national selection) took place in Armenia with five acts making it through to the grand final.

Dalita & Mika
Dalita & Mika

Dalita Avanessian and Mika Varosyan were the presenters of the show. They sang a duet at the beginning. Dalita represented Armenia at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the Welcome To Armenia. She is a top recording artist and tv personality and recently released a duet of Heroes (the 2015 Eurovision winning song of Sweden) with Sergey Sysuev from Ukraine in a joint combination of Armenian, Ukrainian and English languages.
