Eurovision South Africa has started with the candidates in the AFRI  FRIEND AWARDS, it is the third country – FINLAND, the third  category – OTHER LANGUAGE COVERS – and the first candidate ELAKOON ELAMA by Swedish singer MAGNUS CARLSSON.

ELAKOON ELAMA is a Finnish cover of the 1985 Eurovision entry from Finland Elakoon elama by Sonja Lumme.
