Basel has been announced by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) as the host city for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland.

The Eurovision will take place 13 and 15 May (semi-finals) and the grand final on Saturday 17 May at the St. Jakobshalle, Basel.

The selection method was whittled down to Basel and Geneva and today it was finally decided that Basel will host the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.

Tickets for the event will be announced at a later date.
