Bambie Thug will represent Ireland at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with the song, Doomsday Blue.

Six acts did battle in the Eurosong 2024 on the special ‘Late Late Show’ –

1. Isabella Kearney – Let Me Be the Fire
2. Bambie Thug – Doomsday Blue
3.  JyellowL ft. Toshín – Judas
4. Alisha – Go Tobann 
5. Next in Line – Love Like Us
6. Erica-Cody – Love Me Like I Do

It was the audience favourite that took the honours after voting by an international jury, national jury and public vote.

Kalush Orchestra played their 2022 Eurovision winning song for Ukraine, Stefania, during the interval.
